Founder
Golden Days Companionship Services was founded by Ernestine Jordan, a Master Social Worker, mediator, and trainer with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through nonprofits, housing programs, and home-care agencies. Throughout her career, Ernestine has walked alongside seniors, people returning from difficult life transitions, and caregivers who carry a heavy burden. She saw the same gap over and over again: people didn't just need "tasks" done—they needed true companionship, encouragement, and someone who believed in their goals, whether that meant staying safely at home, going back to school, or training for something as bold as a marathon. Golden Days was born from that vision. By blending her social work background, advocacy mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit, Ernestine created a service that honors dignity, independence, and joy—one visit, one conversation, and one golden day at a time.
